Hi, I'm Sowmya.

I'm a mother of two and a freelance designer based in Bangalore. My days move between school runs, singing classes, design files, and the occasional travel plan.

I'm an engineer turned creative freelancer — I did my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. I spent six years at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bangalore as a Deputy Manager in the Flight Test Centre and Rotary Wing Research and Design Centre, working on mobile telemetry and FDR data processing.

When my daughter arrived, I took a long career break (during which we were blessed with son also)— close to ten years — to be present while my kids were growing up. During that time I ran a kids' YouTube channel for a few months and quietly fell in love with creative tools like Canva and Filmora.

In 2025 I started learning AI and website design more seriously, and for the last few months I've been freelancing — building websites and creating social media designs in Canva with the help of AI tools like ChatGPT.
